Playmakers is pleased to announce the 13th annual Greater Lansing Race Series for 2014 and the continued sponsorship of Great Harvest Bread of Okemos and now Great Harvest Bread of Delta Township. Playmakers, along with our partners, aim to work with the select Lansing area races to host great events that provide runners with competitive opportunities to excel. Register before July 1st to score points in Race Series Races and earn swag based on number of events you participate in! Check out all the information at playmakers.com.

Participation Swag - How many races?
Do you still need some reasons to participate or not overly competitive? If you complete any 6 out of 12 races, you will be awarded a 2014 race series long sleeve tech t-shirt and complete 11 out of 12 races, and you will be awarded a Great Harvest Bread Card for a free loaf of bread each month for a year from the Okemos or Delta Township Greater Harvest Bread!
Point's Race - How does it work?
Register online to participate in the 2014 Race Series by July 1, and we will tally points for all of the events you participate in. Make sure to register early though, because we only tally points if you have register before an event occurs. Once registered for the Greater Lansing Race Series, simply register and participate in Race Series events and you will be set to score points if you place high enough in your age catagory or overall in the event. Plus, new this year, you will receive 2 bonus "placing" points for every event you participate in regardless of your finish. At the end of the Race Series we will tally the points and award prizes based on your finish overall and within age groups at the Race Series Banquet.
(Note: Participants must register for each event separetly from the race series - race entries are not included with participating in the Race Series.)

Race Series - Banquet
wards will be presented for overall and age group divisions during our annual race series banquet on Sunday, October 12, at Playmakers. Points will be awarded after each event and awards will be presented to the highest point totals at the end of the season. Join the fun and participate in the 2014 Playmakers Race Series!
