4th Annual Eric Estill Memorial 5K Run/Walk (POSTPONED, PLEASE SEE BELOW)

September 18, 2018, Dear Friends and Family,

We are saddened to advise you that this year's Eric Estill Memorial 5K Run/Walk and "Beastly" Gathering scheduled for Saturday September 29, 2018 is being POSTPONED.

Gene, Eric's Dad, will need to undergo Open Heart Surgery in the very near future after completion of other diagnostic tests.  The Board of Directors for Strong 4 Eric agreed it was best to postpone the event for now and reschedule at a date to be determined.  

All donations received will be distributed to the designated recipients, Lake Central Dollars for Scholars - Eric Estill Memorial Scholarship and St. Louis University Doctor of Physical Therapy Eric Estill Memorial Scholarship, as previously stated, unless you request a refund. Kindly contact us at strong4eric@gmail.com and we will promptly return your donation.  Additionally, all Run/Walk fees will be sent to those already registered.

Finally, and most importantly, keep Gene in your thoughts and prayers during this time of unexpected health challenges.  We remain STRONG 4 ERIC.

Eric Estill (DoubleE) was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a 2009 graduate of Lake Central High School and a Schererville, IN resident. He was tragically killed as a result of an accident 5 weeks before he was to graduate with his DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy). We are now Eric's "Hands and Feet" and are dedicating this annual Memorial 5K run/walk to his abounding passion and compassion for life, his family, "Brothers/Sisters", patients and all whom were fortunate enough to call him friend. All proceeds from the race and all donations (after expenses) are used in Eric's memory for Lake Central High School's Dollars for Scholars "Eric Estill memorial scholarship fund" and "The St. Louis University Eric Estill, DPT Memorial Scholarship Fund".

Eric was known for his outgoing personality and ability to give amazing bear hugs. All who knew Eric became immediate friends and loved his giving, warm, friendly demeanor. He is truly missed but we want that "Beastly" Love to continue on. The Beastly Post-Run get together is your opportunity fun, food, drinks, prizes, and bear hugs.
