Red Wagon 5K & 1 Mile Wagon Pull

The race is located at Louisiana Athletic Cub, Pineville, La.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. With this in mind, Cenla Running Heroes of St. Jude are reaching out to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Join us for the Red Wagon 5K & 1 Mile Wagon Pull on Saturday, September 30.. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Hospital to help every child and family that walks through their doors.

Red Wagons are all around the St. Jude Hospital. These vehicles offer fun, hope and transportation. St. Jude's philosophy is tending to the patient's emotions as well as their physical state. Because cancer is a dark journey, then there should be moments of  joy. So let's roll!

Our team, Cenla Running Heroes, has set a goal of being the top fundraiser for St. Jude in the US.  Help us in helping the Children! Run or Run/Walk the 5K or Bring your wagons out for the Wagon Pull.  This will be a fun event which will start shortly after the 5K @ 8am. Pull the kids or pets. It's going to be an event filled with joy!

Ainsley's Angel: Wanting to do some extra work, sign up for Ainsley's Angel and you will get you push a stroller with an Angel riding along. 

Event Details: Saturday, September 30. Located at England Air Park, Alexandria, La.  5K will begin at 8am with the 1 Mile Wagon Pull starting shortly after.

Race Packet Pickup will be available Sept. 29th from 1-6 at Run Wild located at 1135 Expressway Dr, Pineville, LA 71360.  Or September 30 at the Registration tables at LAC,  beginning at 6:30 AM

Register before Sept 17th to be guaranteed a race T-Shirt.  

Registration Fees: 
Till 8-11-2023 $25 8-12-2022 to 9-29-2022 $30   Packet pick up and Race day - $35

Awards:     5K Awards: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers will receive an award. All 5K finishers will receive a T-Shirt plus a medal for the first 150 finishers.  Wagon Pull Finishers will receive a T-Shirt.
