Sandy sMILES Memorial 5k

We invite you to be part of the 4th Annual Sandy sMILES Memorial 5k and Family Fun Walk benefitting the ABTA on Saturday, June 10, 2017 through beautiful and scenic South Park in Allegheny County.  The race will start near the Agricultural Building on the Fairgrounds Racetrack.  We will be racing the Montour and Fairgrounds trails.

Registration for the Sandy sMILES Memorial 5k will begin at 8:00 am in the Agricultural Building at the end of the Fairgrounds Racetrack.  Please park in the parking lot at the intersection of Corrigan Drive and Brownsville Road.  All participants need to stop by the Agricultural Building to pick up their packets and chp timer.  The course will begin on the Fairgrounds track and make a lap on the track before heading out toward the trails.  The course is along the newer Montour and Fairgrounds Trail thru the woods and will end near the Fairgrounds Racetrack.  

The Family Fun Walk will be 2 laps around the Fairgrounds Racetrack and will begin at approximately 9:45 am.  Please begin gathering on the track at this time.

Refreshments will be served in the Agricultural Building at the conclusion of the race.  Also, please join us for a Gift Auction and 50/50 raffle after the Family Fun Walk.  Tickets will be available in the Agricultural Building.  Race winners will be announced at the conclusion of the Family Fun Walk with prizes and medals being awarded.  Please stay and congratulate the participants.
