In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against Smile-A-Mile, RunSignUp.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Physician. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.

Photo Consent: By submitting your photos to Smile-A-Mile, you are granting permission for Smile-A-Mile to use those photos for posting on our social media channels and other Smile-A-Mile related media, website and press releases.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.  Smile-A-Mile (SAM) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, SAM cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending SAM events could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.
By submitting this entry, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending a SAM event and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at SAM events. On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless SAM, it's volunteers, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or
expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of SAM, its volunteers, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any SAM event.
