Come out for a fun, family-friendly morning!
**CREATIVE COSTUME CONTEST**
5K race starts at 9:00am at Obion County High School in Troy, TN, with race day registration beginning at 7:30am. There will be post race food, music, and door prizes. Race medals will be awarded in the following age categories for males and females: 9 and below, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above
Proceeds: All proceeds will go to Savannah London's World Race. The World Race is a program through Adventures in Missions. It is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries. The route trains in August (Gainesville, GA) and launches in October 2018.

Asia (Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia)
Africa (Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa)
Central/South America (Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador)
Cost: The cost of the program is $18,200 to cover all costs of travel and living abroad. This includes everything from visas, airplane tickets, food, missionary health insurance to ministry costs.
The squad consists of 40-60 young adults from across the United States, with the main focus being to share the gospel as well as participating in many service-oriented projects (manual labor, construction, farming, hiking into villages, cutting grass with machetes),ministering to sex trafficking victims, building relationships with contacts and locals, teaching English, and preaching.
The 5k is called "Run With Purpose" from 1 Corinthians 9:26-27
"So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified."
