Due to the school closure for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, the 30th Anniversary Celebration and Soaring for Success 5K Run/Walk & 1/4 Mile Eagle Dash scheduled for Saturday, May 16th will be postponed to a later date. We understand you have been looking forward to our event. It's a terrible disappointment and we truly empathize with you. As soon as we set a date, we will let you know. Stay safe, healthy and keep running/walking!

Description
Staunton River Middle School (SRMS) will host their first annual Soaring for Success 5K Run/Walk and 1/4 Mile Eagle Dash for ages up to 12. Runners will begin and end at Staunton River Middle School. This will be a fast, mostly flat and scenic trail race. Mountain Junkies, LLC will provide chip timing services with immediate results. Race proceeds will support student initiatives and community service projects.
This event will kick off the 30th anniversary celebration of Staunton River Middle School, which was known as the Staunton River High School Annex until 1989. Staunton River Middle School became its very own independent school during the 1989-1990 school year. There will be vendors and food trucks on site as well as various SRMS Clubs showcasing all of the wonderful things they do to contribute to the Staunton River community.
