Description
Our community lost a bright light this weekend. Words cannot express our sadness about Tabitha Thompson’s passing. Tabitha and her husband, Matt, have been longtime supporters of Fleet Feet and Project Forward. We have loved getting to know Tabitha and her many passions over the years. She was always such a positive light, which will be greatly missed. Tabitha and Matt were a power couple – always motivating each other to pursue their passions and make this world a better place.
We invite everyone to join us in participating in a #Miles4Tab Virtual Run & Walk in honor of Tabitha. Tabitha loved exercising, and she also loved taking care of the children in the NICU. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, dedicated to the NICU.

All #Miles4Tab participants will receive a t-shirt and sticker. The t-shirts and stickers will be ordered once registration closes. We will notify all #Miles4Tab participants when they can pick up their t-shirt/sticker at Fleet Feet. We will mail t-shirts and stickers to those out of town.
T-SHIRT
Tabitha's favorite color was purple. There's a beautiful photo of Tabitha when she ran up to the Roanoke star one time. The Roanoke Star reminds us of Tabitha and all she accomplished. The smaller star represents Tabitha, a bright, bright light now looking over us.
