Announcing two new team participation incentives
- More for Macys: The team that adds the most registered members between May 1 and June 28 will be rewarded two $25 Macy's gift cards
- Add, raise and celebrate with the Philly POPS: The team that brings in 10 new members PLUS submits the most fundraising between May 1 and June 28 will win 2 tickets to an upcoming Philly POPS performance—choose from several fantastic options. To qualify a team must raise at least $500 in the contest period.

What do MORE THAN PINK Virtual Walk teams do?
Simply put, teams get together—safely in person and virtually—and fundraise to save lives! Team captains and team members work together to inspire friends and families to support the mission by joining the team and by raising money to help Susan G. Komen Philadelphia make it possible for more people to survive breast cancer. Because of the stronger focus the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia MORE THAN PINK Virtual Walk places on fundraising—and because the increased need for our services due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic—we encourage team captains to set higher goals than in the past. We are confident that the excitement and meaning surrounding the MORE THAN PINK Virtual Walk will play a major role in teams meeting, or exceeding, their goals.
Team captain roles
First and foremost, team captains emphasize the vital role of every member to collect donations and fundraise. We also encourage team captains to help us educate their team members on all that is new, wonderful and empowering about the MORE THAN PINK Virtual Walk, and motivate as many people as possible to embrace the change. Our role on your team
Your fundraising success translates into our success in saving lives! Therefore, last year Komen Philadelphia significantly enhanced our team captain support program, which is lead by a hands-on committee solely dedicated to helping you have the most successful MORE THAN PINK Virtual Walk in terms of your fundraising achievements and the overall experience of your team.
Fundraising recognition
We are excited to inspire you and your team members with our recognition program for fundraising achievements. This will include recognitions for team captains and team members, based on fundraising performance. Recognition will be in the form of personal gifts and shout-outs in our community.
