Who we are:
The Foundation for TJO Animals, is dedicated to raising much needed funds to help animals in need at the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, which serves the cities of Springfield, Holyoke and Chicopee, Massachusetts. With a focus on providing financial assistance and grants for veterinary care, the Foundation has had a direct impact on saving the lives of animals at the shelter.
Your support enables the Foundation to continue to fund specialized surgeries and diagnostics, now including on-site radiographs, medical equipment, comprehensive testing, emergency clinics as needed, medications and medical supplies, high-quality on-site veterinary care, enrichment supplies that provide comfort and reassurance while in the shelter, and more.
The Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center and the Foundation for TJO Animals work TOGETHER every day to save the lives of thousands of local animals in need. This past year 1417 animals found loving homes, and 1085 medical procedures were performed by the TJO veterinary team. The incredible animal control officers responded to nearly 5,400 calls from the community needing assistance.
We encourage you to learn more about us by visiting our website at tjofoundation.org and to follow us on social media to see some of the impacts of all the work that you, our supporters, have helped make possible.
