Details

Parking consists of traffic slow down monitoring on Merrybell Lane, and then two or three others directing drivers within the parking area inside Stateline Woods Preserve. Please, verify no race parking in our preserve lot. We will provide vests for you. Cars will be parked inside the preserve in nice rows to make room for the most cars – all runners should heed the direction of the parking marshals.

Details

Park in the designated area and walk up the road to the top of the hill where the station supplies will be dropped off.

Water Station volunteers are responsible for filling cups of water ahead of the racers and to pick up all discarded cups if runners don’t hit the trash can. Pick-up trash. Breakdown station after the event and leave all supplies there for staff pickup..

We will have at least two large coolers with water for you – please call race coordinator if you need more. We try to have people hand the cups out to keep runners moving so that there is not a jam at the table. The water is easiest to dispense out of the top with a pitcher and then the tables don’t tip with the weight of the coolers on the edge. You will be relieved of your role once the last runner has passed your station.

Details

Break down the course and start/finish area. Entails trash collection of cups etc, and may also include picking up race arrows, mile markers and cutting colored tape off trees and brush along the race course. This can be done by anyone once the race is over.
