****RUN FOR TEXAS VIRTUAL 5K/10K UPDATE!!!****

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

However, if you still wanted to participate, we have decided to keep our site active through September 9 for DONATIONS ONLY (use the green "donate" tab at the top of the page.) Feel free to donate your "race fee", or any dollar amount you wish, and run any distance as your charity race. Be sure to post a photo on social media and tag it with #runfortexas so we can see it!

Thank you so much to everyone who registered and/or donated to the Run For Texas Virtual races this last week. We had over 3,000 participants from all over the US and in many other countries. Feel free to scroll through the hashtag #runfortexas on social media (especially Instagram) to see thousands of runners supporting those devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Thank you for helping a couple of Virginia running moms turn a small idea into a huge #runfortexas global race party!

Because of runners like YOU, we raised $50,000 for the Texas Diaper Bank & American Red Cross in less than a week. We are humbled and honored to be a part of this project. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us. We are so proud to be a part of the running community.

***WHAT HAPPENS NOW?***

If you purchased a pin, they have been ordered and will hopefully be mailed out within a couple of weeks. We appreciate your patience as the final order was much more than we initially anticipated.

We are working with Bakline Running of NY to design an exclusive "race tshirt" that will be available for participants to order. More details coming soon, so keep an eye on your email! They are also working hard to showcase our event on their website and include a compilation of official "race day photos" for everyone to see.

Lastly, we will soon be emailing a Virtual "Swag Bag" to all registered runners via the email provided at registration. It is full of coupon codes for several running brands that can be used for online purchases. In addition, 10 lucky registrants will receive a custom medal display from Detroit Medal Works. Keep an eye on your email; check your spam folder! It is just a small way to say thank you to our runners.

After Sept 9, we will donate 100% of proceeds to the Texas Diaper Bank and American Red Cross and post our final numbers. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Choose between the 5k and 10k and run with us to show Texas that no matter where we are in the world, we are here to support! Run your distance anytime during Labor Day Weekend!

Donate and run this Labor Day Weekend to help support those devastated by Hurricane Harvey. There is an option to pay extra for the race pin, but 100% of the race funds will be donated to the Texas Diaper Bank and American Red Cross.

Diapers are not provided by disaster relief agencies. The Texas Diaper Bank, with our donations, can help provide diaper emergency diaper kits to the families that are being displaced due to Hurricane Harvey.

*In order to maximize the charitable impact of this race, we are limiting the swag to an optional pin that is available as a separate purchase with your race registration/donation. The race pin option deadline is September 4, but you can run anytime through Sept 9.

Once race weekend is complete, registered runners will receive a virtual "swag bag" via email full of exclusive discount codes from various running companies such as Momentum Jewelry, Bakline Running, Detroit Metal Works and Nuun Hydration.
