Sat April 30, 2022

Place

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, stroll, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, or in the yard.
You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.

Description

Did you know that April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month? Join Midland County's Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center at our 7th Annual Superhero 5K Fun Run & Walk! This event will take place on Saturday, April 30th at Stratford Woods Park or virtually from anywhere. This allows our runners and walkers total flexibility for participating.

Become a Safe and Sound Superhero and #StandUpForMidlandCountyKids. Can you #BeTheOne? We believe through the power of one person, one community, one dollar, one action, Midland residents can help to protect children from abuse and neglect and strengthen families right here in Midland county. Runner's will receive event t-shirts for participating. Participants will be responsible for picking up their event shirts from the event or Safe and Sound's office. Runner is responsible for the shipping costs involved if shipping is needed.

Preventing child abuse before it occurs is the responsible way to manage our society’s future! #CAPmonth

Because every child deserves a hero, and to feel SAFE and SOUND.
