Join us for our annual Family 5K Run/Walk for Life!! We are raising funds to support our ongoing mission of providing free quality medical, educational, and material support to at-risk women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Our goal is that each and every person who comes to CCWS would be empowered and equipped with the medical care, resources, education, and support they need to raise healthy, happy children in stable, loving home environments. We do this through our medical services and educational programs. All of these services are provided free of charge.

We are planning for a fun morning that includes a 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk and our FREE KidsZone with lots of activities and fun to keep the kids busy all morning! Prizes awarded to the top finisher in each age category and for the individual and group who raises the most money to support the mission of CCWS!

We will be taking a collection for new baby items on race day. Please consider bringing a baby item to donate to the ministry. This can include a pack of diapers, wipes, formula, new clothing, new blankets, etc. These items will be given to clients in need.

Race participants will meet at Kerr Park. The race will take place on Struble Trail (starting at Kardon Park). The 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk races will begin at 9am so please arrive at 8am to find parking, register, and get your T-Shirt.

TIMELINE:

8am – Registration Opens at Kerr Park

8:40 – Opening Ceremonies at Kerr Park

8:50 – Walk to Kardon Park

9am – Run/Walk Begins at Kardon Park!

9:30 – 11:30 – KidsZone and Fellowship at Kerr Park/Winners Announced & Recognized Post-Race

PLEASE CONSIDER FORMING A GROUP: Help us reach our goal of 300 registrants! Participants of all ages are encouraged to create a group of 10 or more runners/walkers when signing up. All adults (18+) will receive a $5 discount if their group exceeds 10 adults.

BECOME A FUNDRAISER – Help us reach our $15,000 goal to help local families in need by clicking on “Become a Fundraiser” when you register. It’s super easy to do and allows you to share the link on social media, texts, emails and more! Share your passion to help the mission and others will be sure to support your cause!

Thank you for supporting your local non-profit pregnancy care medical center that exists to educate and empower women and their families to make life-affirming choices. Every person who comes to CCWS is equipped with free medical care, resources, education, and support they need to raise healthy, happy children in stable, loving home environments. All funds raised for this event including sign-up costs and donations support this mission.
