RunSignUp provides races with a simple race webpage. Race directors can post common information about their race like date, time, cost, etc. In addition, custom sections can be added with links to other websites like sponsors.
The webpage will have a simple URL that is search engine friendly. This allows runners searching Google to type in your race name, find your race webpage to get additional information, and sign up. The URL stays the same each year, so links to your webpage will continue to work year after year and you can build your race. You can also set your own URL or embed our widget in your own website.
The webpage has multiple Tabs on it that will display information if enabled:
Race Directors use a simple 5 Step Wizard to set up their race webpage and online registration:
Step 1: Race – enter basic information about the race like the name, description, time and place, as well as how many registration periods you have (early bird, early, post registration for example would be 3 periods).
Step 2: Events – Our Events setup screen lets you specify the exact details about each event. For example a 5K might be $25 and include a T-Shirt and the Fun Run might be $10 and does not have a giveaway.
Step 3: Registration – The Registration setup screen enables the user to control when registration opens and closes, allows you to upload your own PDF for runners who want to print it out and mail in a registration the old fashioned way, and specify the waiver (we include a default waiver that you can use as well!).
Step 4: Webpage – Customize your webpage by adding a logo, accepting Donations and inserting your own custom information and links.
Step 5: Finish – You can save your race in Draft mode so only you can see it, or Publish it for everyone to see and start using. Chose whether you want email notifications each time a runner signs up, and determine if you want the runner to pay the processing fee, if you want to include that in the race fee or split it 50-50 with the runner.
That is all there is to it! Of course you can go back and make corrections, and add a variety of much more advanced features if your race needs those. Click Here for a Video Overview
Remember, RunSignUp is made by runners for runners.
