RunSignUp offers a variety of ways to help you market your race.
Facebook. We will connect to your Facebook page for your event and copy the information from your event over to Facebook. We also allow runners to signup right on Facebook – this means they do not need to leave Facebook and come to your website. We also allow runners to signin with their Facebook login – saving them time and typing. We also give them a chance to share the fact they signed up for a race with their Facebook and Twitter friends.
Coupons. We have a powerful Coupon Management system that let's race directors create special coupon codes with a variety of options like $ or % off, # of uses, only first time users, etc. You can create special codes and use those to promote your race. For example the first 100 people to use a code will get $10 off. Create multiple codes for different marketing events so you can track where your efforts paid off – for example drop off flyers with a unique coupon code at another race to see if you are getting runners from that race.
Groupon. Races can promote themselves with Groupon and similar coupon sites. When runners buy their race entry from Groupon, they get a coupon code. The Race Director can download those codes and then upload to RunSignUp very easily. Watch this video for more information.
Age-Based Pricing. Simply enter age ranges and prices. We also give you the flexibility to enable this pricing over a special period - for example you may want to encourage people to sign up early and have special pricing that might end 4 weeks before the race. RunSignUp also makes this simple for runners by automatically calculating their age on race day based on their date of birth and automatically calculating the race fee for each participant.
Family and Group Pricing. Another way to encourage more participation in your race is to enable Family (or Group) Pricing. For example, you might have a race entry fee of $20. But you could set a Family of Four fee to be $50. Just like Age based pricing, we make Family Pricing easy to set up. You can set up different prices for a different number of people in a family - for example $50 for a family of 4, $60 for a family of 5-6. You can also set up the pricing to be available over a certain time range to encourage early registration. And don't forget about being creative on encouraging larger groups to signup. You might be able to get a company to pay for the entry of 10 or 20 runners when they register together.
Discounts. USATF, Military, Anything you want. Originally designed for USATF Discounts, this gives you the ability to set a special discount for any purpose. You can set the $ Amount, the Name of the Discount (USATF, Military, etc.), Whether an optional field like Membership Number is required, as well as an expiration date for the discount.
