Born out of our own experiences, the Watroba Family established Play It Foreward 518, Inc. 501(c)(3), a nonprofit organization. Play It Foreward 518, Inc. is built on the key concepts of community, giving back, and the importance of “play” in maintaining a positive outlook on life.
As cancer survivors, Joe Watroba and his father Stan were lifted by the support they received from the community during their treatments. It was the continuous love and support that motivated Joe and his family to establish Play It Foreward 518, Inc., in an effort to help others by “paying it forward.”
Our game plan is simple, to bring together individuals and businesses of the community to support important and worthwhile causes for those in need.
Since our inception we have funded countless diversion activities through the Children's Hospital at Albany Med and have sponsored five Make A Wishes' through Make A Wish of Northeast New York.
