The Leatherstocking Council, Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 and provides over 150 character development and leadership skills training programs to Scouts ages 10 to 18 who live in Delaware, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Otsego and Schoharie counties, as well as parts of Hamilton and Lewis counties. We also maintain and staff Camp Kingsley near Rome, NY for Cub Scouts and Camp Henderson near Cooperstown for Boy Scouts. On average, our Eagle Scouts alone each donated over 150 hours of community service this year!
