Second Street Running Society supports Think Pink for Pat!
“Think Pink For Pat ” is an officially registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created in honor of Patricia Maloney Josaphouitch who passed away in August of 2015 after battling stage 4 Breast Cancer. After her passing, her family and friends wanted to keep her memory and spirit alive friends and the annual “Think Pink For Pat Day” started. Pat was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Pat was a free spirit, with a fun loving attitude, and helpful, giving heart. “Think Pink For Pat Day” is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes; more specifically to provide financial assistance and sponsorship to catholic youth education funds and community programs. This organization is organized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and although Pat is no longer here to help kids, those that knew Pat could come together with friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate Pat’s life and raise money for a worthwhile cause that was close to her education and youth athletic programs in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area.
