Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal is more than our region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a movement fueled by commitment…that more and more people survive cancer.

I am riding in memory of a United By Design team member who was treated at Siteman Cancer Center in his grueling battle with brain cancer. Also to celebrate the wife of another team member who is finishing a year of chemo and surgery for breast cancer.

We all have aches and pains. Most turn out to be nothing serious, but some hear the diagnosis "it's cancer." Your world shifts, your focus changes, and you pray that it's treatable and you'll survive. You can be part of the support team that helps people survive.
