On June 1, 2024, I will take steps to keep children safe and families together in our community.
That's the day that I will participate in an extraordinary event in Highlands Ranch whose goal is to raise money to support families and children experiencing crisis and living with no supportive social relationships. I have joined Team _____ or walking independently in Strides 4 Children a lap-a-thon for Safe Families for Children Denver Metro Chapter. Your support will help make my participation a success.
Safe Families for Children Denver Metro Chapter is a local nonprofit part of a national organization that provides a compassionate community of support when families experience crisis. Their efforts are focused on serving families in the Denver Metro area, attempting to support the 5 major counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson.
The children and their families need help dealing with the complex and stressful issues that come with life stressors and having no reliable family and friends to provide support during difficult times. Safe Families supports by mobilizing a compassionate community of vetted volunteers in Circles of Support to support families in unmanageable circumstances. SFFC can only continue to help families with our support through fundraising events like this lap-a-thon.
