Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, 1 in 11 Minnesotans struggled to afford food. Now, 1 in 8 Minnesotans face hunger. We are facing a hunger crisis unlike anything seen since the Great Depression which means that an additional 275,000 Minnesotans – including 112,000 children – are now experiencing hunger. Second Harvest Heartland’s COVID-19 response plans include emergency food boxes, prepared meals from Minnesota Central Kitchen, access to SNAP (formerly food stamps), and partnering with elected officials. We are all concerned about staying safe and reducing our exposure to illness. But for some of our neighbors, a lack of resources means they can’t afford to stock up on food. Helping our neighbors experiencing hunger is more necessary than ever.

No worries! The bank has to deliver that refund. They will either apply the refund to the cardholder's new account, or they may apply it to the old account and send a statement showing a negative balance. You can reach out to your bank/credit card company to locate the refund.
