Description
It doesn't matter if you walk or run when you participate in our inaugural 5K event, but that you come ready to have fun. This event is a fundraising event for Triangle Vegfest and Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. Dress in your best fruit or veggie outfits and strut your stuff through Chapel Hill and be entered into our costume contest. This is a FUN 5K!
Early bird pricing begins on March 6 and goes through April 6. You'll save $5! Don't delay!
Create a team and win our fundraising prize for being a top fundraiser of the event. Prizes TBD.
Highlights:
5K run/walk through a course in Chapel Hill starting/ending at Southern Village Green.
Dress up like your favorite veggie and enter our costume contest. We want to see all you veggies running through Chapel Hill!
TVF Monthly Market with brunch by Soul Cocina Triangle will be happening at the same time as the race.
Sweet Hazel Ice Cream will be giving out free samples (and for purchase).
DJ playing live music to entertain before we start and during the market.
PRIZES for fundraising.
PRIZES for the top men/women in each of our seven categories:
$10 Whole Foods gift card.
Orangetheory Chapel Hill has donated products for prizes.
A free week of yoga classes from Raleigh Yoga and Co.
