The Greensboro Shrine Club and teamindure has joined together for
Priscilla & Sam McCall Half Marathon Relay to benefit Shriners Hospital
We are excited to bring you a new format. This year we will be offering the ability to create teams of 1, 2 or 4 to run 13.1 miles ( 8 laps ) to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. This is a great opportunity to challenge your friends and their families or co workers. Each lap is 1.6 miles, except lap 1 which needs to be just a little longer. We won't tell the 1st person if you don't. We are looking to create a family friendly party. So bring tents, lawn chairs and as many people as you can to cheer on fellow runners and help us honor the children and families of Shriners Hospitals.
Here are your options...
Solo: Get on my back I can do this all by myself
2 Person Team: On an alternating basis you and your partner take turns until you complete 13.1 miles or we yell stop
4 Person Team: 4 team members will take turns until each of you has completed 2 laps or we yell stop.
Fundraiser Team: Unable to make it to the race but are interested in helping support teamindure and the Greensboro Shrine Club as we raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Under the donate tab click "become a fundraiser." Feel free to create your on team or join the teamindure or Greensboro Shrine Club team.

Shriners is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth, and relief.

What are the Shriners Hospitals for Children?
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 hospitals located throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico that offer specialized medical care to children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate are eligible for care. Eighteen of the 22 Shriners Hospitals provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic care to children, including outpatient and inpatient care, diagnostic services, surgical and medical care, cast and braces, prosthetics, X-Rays, rehabilitation, recreation, and continuing education.
Patients must be under the age of 18 and are not required to have any familial affiliation with the Shriners. The motto of Shriners Hospitals for Children is "Love to the Rescue". They also give each child a specialized after surgery gift based on their interests. Shriners Hospital for Children are open to children regardless of their race, religion, or relationship to a Shriner. There is never a charge to the patient or parent for any service or medical treatment received at Shriners Hospitals.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel this years event to lack of interest. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will keep you updated on any future events we schedule!
The registration price is per person, not per team. The total cost for a 1,2, or 4 person team is $70. Team registrations can be done individually or by the 1st registrant registering all team members. If registering individually the 1st person is to create a team name that teammates will use to join when they register.
This year all participants will be given the ability to form an individual fundraising page which will then be linked to your team page. Your team fundraising page will be your team name, this will allow us to track donations. Fundraising option is your choice, but every dollar counts. For all teams able raise greater than $200 we will provide a refund of your registration funds. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fundraising teams and for any teams raising more than $1000. Team fundraising pages will be posted at random on teamindure's facebook page to help you achieve your goals. For those interested in ways to improve your team exposure, tell your story or make your fundraising efforts more of a success, please visit teamindure. We look forward to your participation in this years event.
