New Orleans East Hospital, a proud member of LCMC Health, is an award-winning community hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, quality healthcare close to home.
Since opening our doors in 2014, nearly nine years after Hurricane Katrina, we have brought access to a full-service hospital to the residents of New Orleans East and surrounding areas. Every life matters at New Orleans East Hospital, and we are committed to building a healthy community by focusing on the services our patients need most. This dedication includes offering the only Level 3 Primary Stroke Center and Maternal Fetal Medicine service in New Orleans East.

Our 50-licensed-bed facility is constantly at work meeting the needs of our growing community. Your donation directly supports a hospital that has a significant impact, including 32,333 Emergency visits, 23,184 Primary & Specialty Clinic visits, and 2,844 surgeries annually. This vital care is supported by our dedicated team of 348 employees and 267 physicians.

-LSNA Small Hospital of the Year (60 beds or less): We are a two-time award winner, including for 2021 and 2025.
-LHA Drive to Excellence Quality Award: Recipient of the 2025 Louisiana Hospital Association Drive to Excellence Quality Award.
-Leapfrog Grade: Achieved an A+ Leapfrog grading in 2025.
