Kaitlyn was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma at four months and went through chemotherapy, cryoblation, and removal of her right eye all before her first birthday. But she has never let the challenges of her childhood stop her from accomplishing her goals. She is a young lady full of spunk, sass, energy, and lots of love!Th
Theh highlight of her year is the week she spends with her Camp CARE family. She looks forward to the activities, the friends, the "judgment free zone", and the all the new experiences. Her favorite part of camp is participating in the annual "Untalent Show" where she is sure to provide the crowd with a captivating performance! :-)
This is Kailtyn's 10th and final year attending Camp CARE and words cannot express what Camp CARE means to Kaitlyn and our family. We ask you to help us help them reach their fundraising goal. The organization is run with volunteers and by donations. If you are not familiar with Camp CARE and their work, please visit www.campcare.org.
The Camp CARE 5K is the largest fundraiser for Camp CARE each year! We are hoping to raise enough money to fully cover the cost of camp, about $125,000!
