About Apple Montessori Schools
Apple Montessori Schools have inspired a love of learning since 1972. With 15 schools throughout Central and Northern New Jersey, our infant, toddler, preschool/kindergarten, and elementary programs are child-focused and research-proven. Apple Montessori also offers before and after school daycare. Our mission is to educate, enrich, and inspire children to reach their fullest potential as kind, independent, curious and happy individuals. Our educators and curriculum inspire a lifelong love of learning in a safe and caring environment. By fostering parent partnerships, facilitating ongoing professional development for our staff, and creating socially responsible global citizens and leaders, children thrive in the classroom and beyond. We have been serving the children and families of Hoboken since 2013, and we have just recently expanded our Hoboken Maxwell location by adding three more infant/toddler classrooms.
Why did you decide to support this race?
The Hoboken Shelter is doing important work in our community, and we wanted to support the mission of the organization any way we can. One of Apple Montessori Schools’ core values is “caring”, and our students learn every day what it means to be compassionate, kind, and giving individuals—it’s infused in our curriculum and modeled by our educators and students alike.
Why is giving back to the community important to you?
“Giving back” is central to our programs at Apple Montessori Schools. Our curriculum and educators help our children recognize that they have the power to make the world a better place.
