This event helps us to raise the vital funding necessary to support our children programs of Ursuline Sisters Mission including Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Ministry and Beatitude House. Ursuline Sisters Mission is gospel service poured out into the world by the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown and their ministries.
· Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Ministry began when the Sisters, recognizing the lack of local resources available to people living with HIV/AIDS, created a prayer support group for those living with HIV/AIDS as well as their families, friends, and those grieving their loved ones. The ministry offers tutoring and recreational programs to meet the needs of children from families struggling with HIV/AIDS, poverty, and all of their attendant hardships and challenges.
· Beatitude House has been serving children whose parents receive support from its ministry for over ten years. The children’s program provides after school tutoring, enrichment activities, access to counseling services, and summer camp opportunities for all children whose parents receive support from Beatitude House ministries. Currently Beatitude House is serving 15 children within it's program.
