OUR STORY
Allmade was started by regular people, for regular people, just like you. Allmade’s ten founders found common thread to create a better shirt. As simple screen printers, they started with a desire to create a great shirt to print on, but ended with a shirt you can feel great about. When we started in 2017, we were no experts and didn’t know a thing about making apparel nor its impact, but through exploration and education we learned the impact we could have on people and planet by doing it differently. The Allmade story started when we traveled to Haiti together and experienced first-hand the economic and environmental challenges experienced by garment workers. We realized what a positive impact we could have by creating dignified fair wage jobs that empower the proud people of Haiti to take care of themselves and their families. We returned wholly committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and child abandonment in Haiti, while reducing our industry’s impact on the environment.
