2nd Annual Hearts for Hasberry 5k/10k

Greg Hasberry is an athletic coach, dog trainer, and devoted single father to his daughter Brittany. On October 12, 2012 Greg suffered from double kidney failure. He is currently undergoing nocturnal hemodialysis for his condition and is awaiting a kidney transplant. Last year, a team of dedicated volunteers put together the first annual Hearts for Hasberry 5K. The race was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the contributions from all of our generous sponsors and volunteers.
This year, we would like to do it again, but even bigger and better. This year, we will be running a 10k as well as 5k, and of course, a fun run for the kids! Also this year, all proceeds will benefit the Alabama Kidney Foundation to help increase awareness of kidney disease and to help others, like Greg, who are in need of treatment or a transplant.
