|AMPED / Railroad Junction Day 5K||

The Railroad Junction Day 5K is an event sponsored by the AMPED Student Ministry group of Flomaton First Baptist Church. It is one of many activities that make up the community's Railroad Junction Day in Flomaton, AL. AMPED stands for " A Mission Preparing Extreme Disciples" and the proceeds from the 5K event fund youth ministry activities such as camps, community outreach opportunities, and mission trips in an effort to provide training and opportunities for young people to minister and share the love of Christ both locally, and in other countries as possible.
The race starts promptly at 7:30 am, with registration packets available from 6:30 am until 7:30 am on the day of the race at Flomaton First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
The race is a clearly marked 3.1 mile course on the city streets within the city limits of Flomaton, AL. There will be awards for top 3 male and female overall, and top male and female awards in each age group as follows:14&under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59 ; 60+. These awards will be given during the afternoon events of Railroad Junction Day at the Flomaton downtown pavilion. Directions to the pavilion will be available at the end of the race. Additionally, light refreshments and water will be available after the race.
