Description
Get Fit For Faith is a Kids' 5K/1 Mile Fun Run fundraiser to help the Jackson family bring home their second daughter, Faith, from China. Faith was born with a very special heart, and her adoption is being expedited for medical purposes. This race is specifically for kids to run (Parents are welcome to run with your child, but adults will not be officially timed/awarded.) The kids who participate in this race will be playing a vital role in helping bring Faith home quickly to her family, where she can begin receiving the medical care that she needs, while improving their cardiovascular fitness in the process! Kids are encouraged to wear a superhero costume if they choose to do so, because Faith's heart continues to beat strongly, and she is our little superhero!
The race will be held rain or shine. We are planning to have music and a bouncy house. Contact Stacie if you would like to volunteer the day of the race. There is a "Sleep In" option on the registration page for those who cannot attend but would like to run on your own, or a donation tab for additional donation.
