Description
Silent Tears is a group of community members dedicated to helping individuals and families struggling from addiction. The race is to highlight the struggle we face, support those fighting the battle, and encourage others that we are NOT alone in the fight. Addiction impacts so many families and by shining the light on the possibility for hope, we can build stronger communities.
The first 20 registrants for the 5k race receive free race shirt!
Children 10 and under walk free for the 1 mile glow walk!
COVID-19 UPDATE: The community center has informed us that everyone will need to wear a mask and please follow mandate requests per governor. Use discretion if you have underlying conditions.
Schedule of Events:
- 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Community Event
- 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Silent Tears 1st Annual Addiction Awareness 5K
- 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM Family 1 mile Glow Walk
- 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM Candle Lighting
