5K run/walk, kids 800 Meter chip timed race at Daisy State Park, 103 East Park, Kirby, AR 71950.
5K race start at 9:00am. 800 Meter race start at 10:00am.
The peRSeverance Run is a fundraising event to benefit the Ryan's Call Foundation. The RCF is a 501c3 non profit charity organization established in memory of Ryan Swain. Ryan was an active, athletic and generous young man that loved sports and the great outdoors. In Septenber of 2013, while on a duck hunting trip, the unimaginable happened, and Ryan lost his life as a result of drowning. The Ryan's Call Foundation strives to educate and increase awareness of Water Safety/Drowning Prevention and the importance of Always wearing a Life vest while in or around water. This Organization donates Life Vests to Marinas, pools, Camps etc and provides charitably to youth that has sustained traumatic injuries due to sports and outdoor recreational activity.
