Dash For Ghana

Come join us on October 1, 2016, at 9am for an obstacle course race at the OIAIS High School in Buckeye.  The race will be about 2 miles long and include obstacles along the way that will add to the fun!  All proceeds will go to provide a water pumping system for our partner village in Ghana in collaboration with WATERisLIFE.  This will eliminate the need for women and children to walk over a mile to get water and will build and strengthen their community greatly!  Register to run or donate today! Odyssey has been partnering with the organization WATERisLIFE for 6 years. Through our partnership we have been able to provide clean sustainable water to a village in Ghana called Kapachi Yili. Past projects include distributing filtration systems, holding sanitation and hygiene classes, enlarging their local water source, and building a fence around the water source to prevent animals from contaminating it. We want to help get Kapachi Yili to the next level by providing the funds to build a pumping system that will pump water directly into their village for the first time EVER! This will be a tremendous gift for them because women and children will no longer have to walk over a mile to obtain water. Children will be able to go to school, and women can focus on other important tasks in their community. This will help build and strengthen their community greatly!
