2nd Annual Footprints for Hopi 10k Series Event

Footprints for Hopi is an annual fundraiser run that benefits the residents of the Hopi reservation through our monthly food box Since May 2020, Hopi Relief has successfully delivered water, food, cleaning and personal hygiene supplies directly to the Hopi reservation and reached a huge milestone by having delivered over ONE MILLION pounds of food and approximately 5,000 thousand boxes of hygiene supplies to Hopi tribal members. Our primary and immediate focus is to address issues regarding food insecurity, health, and safety during COVID-19 and beyond. This annual event aims to unite runners throughout the world once a year while supporting our beloved Hopi people. We are excited to bring this fundraiser run to the wonderful pines of Flagstaff, AZ. By joining us in May, you will make a footprint for Hopi amongst the San Francisco Peaks or "Nuvatukwi'ovi", a site of importance and sacredness to our Hopi people. 

About the T-shirt Design: Hopi Relief wanted to create a tee that reflected growth and strength. These two characteristics is Hopi Relief's focus as an organization in 2022 for the benefit of our Hopi people. Growth and Strength is reflected in the T-shirt for 2022:

• Left Foot: Prayer for all good things in life. Happiness. Growth. Prosperity. Moisture.
• Right Foot: Eagle and Sun symbols are to signify strength as both work together to fulfil prayers.
• It was important to include mountains in our design as we make the connection of running at the foot of our sacred Nuvatukwi'ovi peaks in 2022.

Hopi Relief would like to thank Honyoutink for their amazing graphic design services to bring you the 2022 design. All incentives for the Footprints for Hopi event are purchased from Hopi owned businesses on the Hopi reservation. Supporting the local Hopi reservation economy is extreely important to Hopi Relief. 

We are excited to bring a team scoring aspect to the 10k event. Awards will be given to the top finishing teams in all 3 categories

Top finishers in each individual age category for both male and female will be awarded.

Hopi Relief is a 501c3 Non-profit organization. We host Footprints for Hopi to:

Raise funds for people on the Hopi reservation during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Motivate and engage all genres and levels of runners.
Establish and promote new partnerships that align with Hopi Reliefs' mission and values.
