Mariah's Miracle 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Mariah's Miracle | Helping AZ kids, one grant at a time! 

Participating in our annual 5K and/or 1 Mile Fun Run helps us fulfill our mission of providing grants that cover the cost of pediatric patients’ needed therapy and equipment when health insurance does not. Help our vision become a reality!

Run Information:

January 27, 2024

Location: 

Bullard Wash Linear Park (the south end, off of McDowell, behind the Staples Office Supply Store at 1755 North Pebblecreek Parkway Goodyear, AZ  85395)

Timeline: 

8:00 am - 8:45 am: Registration | T-shirt and bib number pick-up 

9:00 am:  5K Start

9:15 am:  Mile Fun Run Start

ALL participants will receive a Mariah's Miracle Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run T-shirt AND a wooden Mariah's Miracle Medal with additional prizes for first, second, and third place winners! 

The Girl Scouts of Desert Sunset Troop 6223 will sell Girl Scout Cookies, DJ Jeffro will play music, and each of our sponsors will host a table. Following the run, water and snacks will be provided.

About Mariah's Miracles: 

Mariah's Miracle is a 501(c)(3) formed to honor the legacy of our beloved daughter, niece, wife, friend, and pediatric therapist, Mariah DeVries, who passed away from a rare cancer on March 23, 2020 only two short months after giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl. Mariah was often disillusioned by health insurance not covering her little patients' needed equipment and therapy. Therefore, Mariah's Miracle was created! In 2022 we awarded more than 17 grants totaling more than $76,000! We are on track to award more grants totaling more money in 2023!
