Description
A FUN and FIT-tastic 5k challenge - held this year at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement training center for the Tucson Police and Tucson Fire Departments! Being a part of this unique event – you will experience the actual obstacles recruits use for the challenges designed around a first responder PT test to give you an idea of how well you would do!! Test yourself with jumping a fence, tower stair climb, dragging a dummy and more! This run/walk is a twist on the typical 5k – it starts with fitness challenges – then you set out to run, at the half, you will be tested again, then you run back – with a final challenges before crossing the finish line! We’ll have music, food and more at the finish line! Not sure you can the challenges and just want to walk in the 5k?! no problem - this year the course will incorporate a special course for walkers!
