Sprint Course

Course Details:

The swim Start will be located at the lake near Farm Rd. and Walnut Grove Rd., just north of the shooting range and new paint ball area.  The swim start will be 6:30 am.

The swim start is a time trail start with a triathlete entering the water every three seconds.  we will have 2 different distances on the swim, bike and run; Super Sprint (1)Swim 1/4 Mile, Bike 8 Miles, and Run 2 Miles.Sprint (2)Swim 1/2 Mile, Bike 16 Miles, Run 4 Miles

The Swim Course will be a one triangular loop around the lake.   You will enter and exit the lake on the northern tip of the lake closest to the transition area.  The Annie Oakley Super Sprint will start at 6:30 am, when the last Super Sprint Triathlete enters the water we will wait 10 minutes and then start then Annie Oakley Sprint Swim.

The bike portion is a 8 mile loop course, the 16 mile bike is 2 loops and the Super Sprint bike is 1 loop.  You will exit the transition area and bike west on Walnut Grove Rd. to Germantown Parkway and turn right and bike south to Wolf River Blvd.  You will be west on Wolf River  Blvd. and the street name changes to Humphreys Blvd.; you will continue west to Walnut Grove Rd., past the transition area for your second loop.  On the completion of your second loop you will return to the transition area to begin your run.

The run course will use the Greenline to cross The Wolf River and turn right and run toward Walnut Grove Rd.  The 2 mile run will turn around before they get to Walnut Grove Rd., and run back to the finish line located near the transition area.  The 4 mile run will continue toward Walnut Grove and take a right to go under Walnut Grove.  This will put you on the newly finished section of The Wolf River Greenline. This trail follows the Wolf River behind west Clinic. You will be on this trail for about 3/4 of a mile and then turn around and run back the way you came to the finish line.
