A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming. The run can take place on a trail, a road or a path. Similarly, the swim can take place in any body of water – a pool, a reservoir, or an ocean. USA Triathlon’s Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon Series will feature a swim/run combination.
Join us at San Lorenzo Valley High School in Felton, CA for some swim-run-fun! Kids 7 - 10 will swim 100 yards and run .62 miles. Kids 11 - 15 will swim 200 yards and run 1.24 miles. Swim is in the SLV high School Pool and the run is around the campus and on trails surrounding the sports complex.
You can view the run courses at the following links:

The focus is on PARTICIPATION rather than competition. The series will expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport! Timing will not be required at each event, although it is acceptable. All events within the series will be USA Triathlon sanctioned.
Is this your child's first event like this we'd love to have you take advantage of the Time To Tri initiative sponsored by USA Triathlon and Ironman to encourage participation. There's a place for all ages in the sport, especially our youth athletes to encourage a lifetime of fitness activities. When you register use the code TIME2TRI to get a $5 discount at checkout.
