City of Lincoln 2023 Huffin' for the Stuffin' Turkey Trot

Welcome to the 6th annual Huffin' for the Stuffin' Turkey Trot presented by the City of Lincoln Recreation Department.

Our 5K run is LIVE again this year as we continue our festive engagement with families and community. There is a .17 mile Donut Dash for children 4 to 7 years old to take part in again as well. We also offer a virtual race option for those that would like to run on their own or want to bring the fun of Turkey Trot to friends and family in other areas, by having them take part with you.

This years race will not have a professional timer due to shortages and high cost but we will have a timing system for you to keep track. This event is a FUN RUN and meant for community engagement & family FUN! Not a professional timed type of race. The proceeds from our run helps to support the City of Lincoln Recreation Scholarship Fund which helps our Recreation Department offer scholarships to cover fees for our recreation programs to families in need. We feel it's better to have proceeds go to program over timing companies. 

Registration: Registration is now open thru November 19th 2023.  Please register by November 1st to receive a shirt and medal. We are ordering extra sizes but they will be on a first come first served basis. 

Race Schedule: Thursday November 23th 8:00 arrival

                           Kids Donut Dash at 8:10am 

                           5k to start at 8:30am 

                           Virtual Race - Complete your route anytime between Nov.23th thru Nov 26th 2023

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up: Lincoln Community Center Tuesday November 21st & Wednesday November 22nd 11am to 6pm 

Refund Policy: All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable and are considered a donation to our recreation department.
