Ivanhoe Run 2022

What is a Virtual 5k?
A virtual 5k is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill at the gym or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
YES, I want to participate in the virtual 5k. What do I need to know?
Great! Here are your next steps:

Between now and Friday, February 4 complete the full race distance; 5k for 12 years and up, and a minimum of 0.5 miles for kids. Then upload proof of your completion to the google form here. Proof can be a screenshot of your tracking device, treadmill display, or watch time. 
All verified race finishers will receive a finishers ribbon, available for pick-up at Ivanhoe on a coordinated date TBD.
All verified finishers who registered at the $30, 12 years and up price, will receive one Ivanhoe Run long sleeve tee as part of your finishers package at no cost. You can select Kids or Adults and size in the google form. 
Please take some pictures with your finishers ribbon, and run your virtual race for the yearbook and FOI social media!

NO. I do not want to do a virtual run.
If a virtual race is not to your liking, please email friendsofivanhoe@gmail.com with the names of your registered participants and we will process a full refund.

You can also opt to not participate, and consider the registration fee paid as a donation to Friends of Ivanhoe to support critical staff and support services at our school.
What about the Dragon Run?
As people will be running on different courses and surfaces, we will not be ranking a grade v grade challenge run this time around.

When will the rescheduled race take place?
We are looking at a weekend date in September 2022 as a Welcome Back to School celebration.
