Merced Turkey Trot

The Merced Running Club would like to invite you, your family, and friends to another fun-filled running event at the Merced Turkey Trot.  This event will take place on Saturday, November 23rd.  This long-time tradition in Merced will once again be held at Lake Yosemite, next to UC Merced!  All 2 Mile and 5 Mile participants will be chip timed.  A big thank you to the Buhach Colony HS Cross Country team for their timing services.

We will again offer a kids 1K that starts at 8:15am, a 2 mile Run/Walk, and a 5 mile Run.  Pre-register here by November 22nd and save some money!  Bring your new or lightly used running shoes on race day and you will receive raffle tickets for prizes that will be given away throughout the day.  Proceeds go to the Merced Running Club where the money is used to award scholarships to local high school runners that are moving on to college.  The MRC has donated thousands of dollars to local high school runners for college, the purchase of running shoes, and other team equipment.  A big THANK YOU to all MRC members for their continued support and endorsement of our sport.

If you have participated in the past, you know how much fun we all have at this event.  This year, we hope that you will join us and BRING A FRIEND!   And remember, rain or shine, we will run...no refunds for no-shows.
