Virtual Dolphin Dash
The Dolphin Dash is Solana Highlands' annual fun run fundraiser. It raises money to help support our Discovery Labs (STREAM, Art, Supplemental PE, and Technology). Students can earn charms for the miles they run (or walk) from March 11-18. There are two courses that start at Solana Highlands, but your family can run anywhere. You just need to sign up and then enter your daily runs, walks, or hikes*. Have fun!

Click the "Sign Up" button to register to run/walk in our virtual Dolphin Dash. Family members can register too by choosing the parent/guardian or sibling option when prompted to select a teacher. Detailed registration instructions can be found at the bottom of this webpage.
You will have an opportunity during the registration process to make a donation* to the Foundation and to personalize your own pledge page to become a fun-run-fundraiser. Thank you for supporting the Discovery Labs at Solana Highlands!
*Suggested fundraising goal is $75 per Solana Highlands student.

The top fundraising class (average per student) will win the coveted trophy and a playground party with the principal. The following table shows donation totals as of 1:00 p.m. 3/26/22.
The Dolphin Dash's goal to help fund our art, PE, technology, and STREAM classes at Solana Highlands for THIS school year is $18,400.
Prizes
Winners will be announced on April 1 at the student assembly. Students will receive their charms that day too.
-Solana Highlands' students will earn charms for reaching the following total distance milestones: 1 mile, 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon.
-The top three male and female student runners per each grade will each win a medal charm.
-Each student in the top mileage class per grade (average per student) will win a glow-in-the-dark runner charm and will get to pick which game to play during a regularly-scheduled PE Discovery Lab with Coach Kono.
-Each student in the top fundraising class (average per student) will win a Party with the Principal. Additionally, the class will win a huge trophy to proudly display in their classroom.
Courses
You can run/walk anywhere! However, if you want to view some pre-measured routes, click on the "course suggestions" link at the bottom of the event webpage. Several courses begin at Solana Highlands where you can take photos and cross a finish line*.
If you live on one of the course routes, please decorate your yard or sidewalk to encourage our students. Don't live on the course? Come and decorate the sidewalk around school*. Go Dolphins!
