Get showered with green dye as you come to the end of your race. By the end of the run, everyone will be green!

The proceeds from the Color Me Green 5K run/walk will benefit members of the 4-H Youth Development Program in Santa Clara County.

4?H is delivered by the Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. For example, these universities include the University of California, Purdue, University of Kansas, etc. Does this mean that you need to have an affiliation with one of these universities? - No!  Resources from these universities help to support the 4-H program, but most people participate in 4-H at the community level. 4-H welcomes members ages 5-19 and adult volunteers as well!
(4-H is primarily a volunteer-run organization).

Kids complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and citizenship, in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles. Kids experience 4?H in every county in the country—through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs and 4?H camps.
