To Our Mardi Gras Madness Family,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your continued loyalty and share an important update for our 2021 event. It’s a brave new world, and while we’re cautiously optimistic that our 11th Annual Mardi Gras Madness will take place at Valencia Town Center as is tradition, securing the necessary permitting to host the event is subject to approval from multiple government agencies including the LA County Department of Public Health, County Fire and Public Safety, and the City of Santa Clarita. As such, our steering committee has been working hard in developing a model to allow for a best practices virtual race experience should we be faced with a public gathering restriction as related to COVID-19 in February of next year. Rest assured, if forced to take this path, we will notify our particpants no later than Sunday February 7th 2021, and make every effort to offer a safe virtual experience both fun and engaging!
On behalf of SOAR and the 2021 Mardi Gras Madness Executive Steering Committee, our eternal gratitude for your continued support! We wish you and your families continued good health!
