BLUEFANG 5K, 10K, & Dogathon

Welcome to the BLUEFANG Dogathon and 5K-10K presented by High Tech Pet in association with CARL (Canine Adoption and Rescue League).

You can run as an individual or with your dog.

The Bluefang Dogathon is like no other race. Bluefang invites you to race with your dog. While there are lots of “dog friendly” races, Bluefang is the only DOG CENTERED race. Each dog is an official participant and will be given a racing bandana, bib number and timing chip. All humans will receive a racing T-shirt, bib and timing chip. All finishers, human and canine, will be given an official finisher medal. All human and canine finishing times will be published at the event and online. There will be prizes for the TOP DOG finishers and TOP HUMAN finishers.  

Each dog must bring a human guest however, unaccompanied humans are welcome to race. Bluefang is sure to be Ventura County’s premier pet and sports event with music, food, dog agility course, lots of vendor tents with the latest doggie products and CARL’s extremely popular Pooch Parade (requires separate entry). This is your opportunity to run with the dogs and have a howling good time!

The event is fully chip timed and has age group awards for the 5K's and 10K.

Free event shirt (gender specific...we want everyone to enjoy their shirts) for all participants (human.)
