A great family event! Bring your relatives and neighbors to kick-off Thanksgiving Day right at the Anthem Turkey Day 5k in Broomfield.
The race features a Kids Fun Run for ages 3-7 and a family-oriented atmosphere with fun activities for everyone! See website for specifics!

Parking
Park at the Parkside Community Center on the morning of the event in available spaces. Our parking marshals will gladly help you find an open space. When the PCC lot is full, you are welcome to park on the North side of Parkside Center Drive or along neighborhood streets, but please be mindful of all of our neighbors and residents and make sure you don't accidentally block a driveway or park on soft surfaces such as grass.

Volunteer Information
Volunteers, please arrive at your scheduled time or before. Check in with your captain at the VOLUNTEER 3W Tent outside in the Parkside Community Center parking lot. Read the PDF here for more information on items that racers may inquire about on race day.
BRING: Layers - you never know what the weather will be like! Also, bring something to give to the selected charity if you can. Bicycle - all of the course marshal and water station spots are easily accessed on a bike AND you don't have to worry about where to park on the course! Bring a camera and feel free to take pics of the event. You can add them to the event facebook page or put them in a dropbox and share it with us, if you'd like!
PICK UP: Course marshals should pick up a safety vest and wear it while on the course. All volunteers should pick up your race T Shirt and some snacks from the Volunteer Lounge. Parking attendants should pick up safety vests AND yellow walkie talkies. The yellow walkie talkies are for the parking team only. Jaymie will have copies of the course map, if you need to be reminded where your assignment is located.
DROP OFF: If you bring a donation for our charity partner, you should drop it off with the Anthem representatives outside at the expo. When you're done at your course marshal station, drop off your safety vest at the 3W Races Tent at the expo outside. Parking attendants should also leave their equipment at the the 3W Tent outside. Jaymie will be there to collect items from you.
FINISH: Our goal is to be completely cleaned up and leaving the area by 11 AM. Course marshals will be dismissed from their posts by the course sweeper. When you are done, please make sure that all trash around your area is picked up. Break down your water station table and empty any water from the water coolers/jugs. Unused water from UNOPENED gallon jugs should not be emptied. Walk in both directions around you for a reasonable distance and gather up any course markings such as signs or cones. Please leave collected materials on the ground near the closest roadway for easier pick up by the clean up crew who will be driving to collect the items.
