Drennen's Dreams Foundation
Our mission is to honor Drennen’s legacy by training and educating pool management, aquatics facilities, and lifeguards, about the importance of practicing high safety standards; and to educate the general public about water safety to prevent drowning.
About the event
All registered participants, whether live or virtual, will receive a Drennen’s Drowning Prevention 5K T-shirt. At the 5K the top three finishers overall and in each age group, female and male, will also receive special awards. All kids registered in the Fun Run will receive a prize. All live registered participants will also enjoy a pancake breakfast with sausage and coffee, water stations, music, vendors, and giveaways.
Your support
The funds raised from Drennen's Drowning Prevention 5K go towards educational presentations and trainings that are given throughout our community, state, and across the country; and to support other initiatives that prevent drowning such as Life Jacket Loaner Stations and educational videos.
