FAQ's

Q: Do I have to be in a certain city/state to do this event?
A: No, anyone can do this event wherever you are, on your time!

Q: How do I record my time? 
A: You will be logging your time directly into the RunSignUp System.  You will get an email with your unique link and instructions for you to upload directly. 

Q: Do I have to run or can I walk? Does it need to be outside?
A: For this race any movement will count! You can Run, Walk, Hike, Bike, Swim, (or even Crawl if you have to!) Any way you can get the miles. It's your challenge, as long as you are purposefully moving indoors or outdoors, it counts. 

Q: What if I can't run on June 9th?

A: That's OKAY! You can upload your time for up to two weeks after the event. We be-leaf ;) you will do it! 

How does this lettuce run feed families?

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for participating in our first annual Lettuce Run to Feed Families 5K. Our mission is to develop agriculture in communities around the world through hard work and smart aquaponics technology. Our vision is to stop the cycle of poverty by equipping communities with a means of growing crops even in the most severe climates—bestowing kindness to the widow, the orphan, and the downtrodden. 100% of the proceeds from this 5K go towards the production cost to sponsor and give FREE, fresh produce and fish to families in need! What does it cost to feed a family?

• $25 feeds a family of 6-8 for 1 MONTH
• $300 feeds a family of 6-8 for an entire year! 

So if you "carrot" all ;) you will sign your whole family up for this race so you can make a positive impact and feed families in need!
